SCHOOL DETERRENCE AND DETECTION PROGRAMS
Our program reduces the presence of drugs and guns on school campuses and in the workplace. This is accomplished by the use of highly trained canines and handlers.
We have a successful program because our handlers:
- Are current or retired police K-9 handlers
- Are court qualified in canine behavior / training
- Are drug recognition experts
- Have numerous years of experience in law enforcement / police officers
- Are familiar with the State Ed code / Penal code
- Have conducted searches for the DEA and other police agencies
HOW OUR PROGRAM WORKS
We provide random unannounced searches. Our team works closely with administrators to provide the appropriate number of visits needed to maximize the effectiveness of the program. This method has consistently been proven in other school districts that we provide service for.
Our searches consist of:

- Quad areas/ common areas
- Vehicles
- Bathrooms
- Auditoriums
Our canines search for:
- Marijuana
- Amphetamines
- Methampthetamine
- Heroin
- Cocaine
- Opiates
- Vaping material
- Xanax
- Phentynal
- Black powder
- Ammunition
- Firearms
- Ecsstacy
- Oxycodone
- MDNA
The dogs are trained with a passive alert by sitting and staring at a detected odor. This ensures no damage to property. Therefore limiting any potential liability to items/articles inspected/ sniffed by the canine.
All of our dog and handlers are certified, and dogs are trained to work without disrupting the normal daily work routine.
